Secrets of High Fashion

Most women and men like to look expensive and that their clothing reflect a sense of polish and good grooming. Dev Randhawa brings together some of high-fashions best tips.

High fashion isn’t cheap, but it can be achieved in a few simple ways without breaking your budget. You can look luxe, and designer Michael Kors has offered some basics to remember.

For example, when it comes to a fashion staple like sunglasses, one style is classic, never wrong and worn by major stars. According to Kors, it is the aviator lens.

Gisele Bundchen and Angelina Jolie are two glam ladies always sporting aviator shades. The designer himself also wears aviators wherever his travels take him.

“Aviator sunglasses make any outfit sexy,” Michael Kors says.

Fashion labels matter, and when you can find them at a great discount, it’s a win-win and another secret of high fashion. Off-price stores are the way to do it, says the New York Times. The newspaper looked into this type of retail shopping and discovered that buyers can hunt down some incredible deals at rock-bottom prices, sometimes up to 70% off the original price. Stores like the Nordstrom Rack and T.J. Maxx often carry affluent designer brands like Chanel, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, Givenchy, etc.

Another secret of high fashion is copying your favorite celebrity. Look at the fashion silhouettes they favor and the colors, textures and trends they like to wear, and take note.

Michael Kors also suggests buying tailored jackets, coats, dresses and pants in neutral colors. These garments look timeless and expensive.
